This page will serve as a basic how to play guide for NOOBS TO GITGUD. While there is very little information available at this time, we urge you to check back often, as new information is being added all the time! Feel free to edit this guide with any tips, tricks, and suggestions.
Basic gameplay[]
You are nude, no not literally... Or at least not all of you.
You have your fists but you need upgrades, ammo, things to heal, and most importantly you need guns.
Items can be found on the ground at loot locations, in boxes, or dropped from dead Rejects[1].
After about a minute of gameplay the Death Zone as well as a countdown appear in the top right corner near the map. If you remain outside of the circle that will be marked on your map, you will take damage that increases over time and as the Death Zone gets smaller.
Controls[]

Beyond your basic items and weapons, you have healing items (7,8,9,0)
Tips and tricks[]
Run everywhere (shift). There is no limited Stamina meter, the only disadvantage you get is a slightly smaller vision radius.
Houses and boxes tend to have the most loot.
Find a house, open a box, get a good gun, loot.
Make sure to check your ammo (bottom of the screen,) you have to manually reload and if you have zero bullets, well...
Are you doing something you don't want to be doing? (i.e. healing, throwing a bomb, or loading in front of a shotgun about to blast you)? DASH CANCEL WITH SPACE BAR; it cuts you out of animations and allows you to do something else. Keep in mind that dashing has a small cooldown!
Doors to house start off closed, if the door is open be ready to fight.
You can also close doors (F) to make people think it is safe.
See a window? Get near it to gain vision of the interior of the building.
You can fire at someone through a window. Reality check, this works both ways.
Don't have a gun? Punch someone to assert your dominance.
Upgrade your gear while looting. (Green and Blue lighted items are the best in the game). Passive items upgrade automatically if you pick them up. You won't be able to accidentally switch to lower level items (unless you manually drop your items first).
Dashing can be extremely useful if you are found. Remember to zigzag and serpentine, but not predictably.
Holy sausages, there's fire everywhere, fudging beans run!
Hey, all of the houses are open now and there's nothing left. (lay-low, check houses)
Hey, I found a bunch of stuff left behind! (Ok, be careful. It might be a trap.)
